What my clients
say about me
“I chose to work with Sofia because I was having some difficulties managing health challenges that affected my ability to socialise, to expend energy in certain ways (including on work), and to travel. This was all relatively new and I had to learn new ways of working and pacing myself. I was trying to work with unfamiliar limitations and wasn’t able to progress as quickly as I wanted.
It was frustrating and I was being quite self-critical, feeling stuck and judging myself harshly for it, which was holding me back further. I wanted to focus on pacing and addressing some of the fears I was experiencing from having lost career momentum.
When I described these things to Sofia in my intake form, her response made it clear that she takes a compassionate and considered approach to coaching. I felt safe to trust her process and to be vulnerable enough to get what I needed from coaching.
After working with Sofia, I feel less tangled up about work. I was experiencing a lot of shame and embarrassment because I couldn’t make progress in the time frame I wanted, but I became more self-forgiving, realising that the timeline I'm on is the one I need at this point in my life.
Change can be difficult to navigate and having someone like Sofia on your side provides perspective and a compassionate lens through which to view and address the challenges.
Sofia is open and flexible. She approaches her coaching with kindness and empathy, and she selects tools that are appropriate to you, following your lead rather than imposing her own agenda.
As a coach myself, I've worked with a lot of coaches. I know that, for me, fit is of utmost importance. What I value most in a coach is that they’re first and foremost interested and curious about their coachee, that they listen well, understand the nuances and uniqueness of every situation, and that they’re able to select and apply coaching tools creatively and flexibly to address those unique challenges.
Of all the coaches I’ve worked with, Sofia has done this best. She is also an absolutely lovely person – warm, clever, interested, and vivacious, which may not seem important, but I think is key to fostering a trusting coaching relationship in which you feel free to be vulnerable and open.
I would recommend Sofia as a coach because she is able to hold space for you to examine the challenges you want to resolve from lots of different angles and to explore problem-solving and resolution in a way that works for you and responds to your needs and wants. Thank you, Sofia!”
— Jodie Lamb, Life & Career Coach
“I decided to work with Sofia due to her knowledge of arts and crafts and her track record in developing creative businesses. She has a unique ability to offer insight from both sides of the struggle.
I needed insight into the processes that slowed or halted both my artistic practice and the business side of life. And, in fact, insight into my wider life and thinking habits, all of which Sofia was well suited to help me examine.
Sofia's coaching has helped me restore many crucial strands in my life. I'm physically active again, I've revived my creative practice in a serious way, and she has miraculously managed to help me get all the horses pulling in the same direction. Should something start to unravel, focus meander away, or life seemingly get in the way, I know I can organise contact with Sofia and get some clear, practical ideas on how to proceed, ideas that never fail to get me on my way again.
Sofia is calm, astute, and thoughtful. She thinks deeply about what I have to say, allows plenty of space for reflection, and puts all her energy into helping me find the answers I need from within myself. She's unfailingly encouraging, supportive, and effective.
I would highly recommend working with Sofia, as her approach has been so effective for me. Not just in the immediate, but also in a long-lasting way. While I leave sessions invariably with a smile on my face and a very clear idea of what I need to do, our conversations have created a foundational understanding of some of the ways in which I lead myself astray – as all artists tend to do from time to time – and that helps me to hold the line even when life is at its most challenging.”
— Roger Vaughn, Artist
“I wanted to work with Sofia because I love looking for outside perspectives. I’ve had my own business doing all the things for over 11 years, so it’s nice to get a fresh viewpoint.
I found it helpful to tackle one topic or area of concern per meeting. After each session, my mind felt clearer and I had a different energy around it. There are certain aspects of having a business that I find more challenging, and I was able to approach and view those with a refreshed mindset.
Sofia does a great job listening and responding to what she’s heard. The issues were taking up more headspace than was needed and I felt lighter about subjects after we’d talked. Her viewpoints and thoughts were spot on to what I was talking about. She approached our sessions with curiosity and did a great job helping me reframe the issues based on her observations.
I would definitely recommend working with Sofia as she has a very calming perspective, and I felt comfortable being open about issues I was having. She knows what questions to ask to pinpoint the roadblocks you have in your mind. It was a really enjoyable experience!”

"Sofia was a part of our marketing team for a year as a consultant copywriter at Quickspin.
She contributed to the team in many ways. Both as the fantastic copywriter she is, but also with her great ideas and innovative solutions. She adapted to this industry quickly, and she always delivered high-quality content on time.
More than that she is an awesome colleague that brings a positive and friendly mindset to the team. Sofia is a real star and I give her my highest recommendations!"
— Linn Lange, Head of Marketing, Quickspin
“I had the pleasure of working with Sofia during a year when she was a consultant copywriter at Quickspin. Sofia is a fantastic copywriter, but she also holds many other great qualities. She is highly structured, forward-thinking and a quick learner. On top of that, she’s an amazing colleague and an absolute star!
Sofia’s contribution to my team was tremendous. She earns my highest recommendations and any company that gets the chance to work with Sofia should consider themselves lucky!”

“Sofia Englund has served as Tictail’s Swedish copywriter since early 2017. Since then, she has transformed the company’s tone of voice to a sophisticated language that engages and converts customers across a multitude of shopper demographics.
As International Marketing Manager at Tictail, I oversaw Sofia’s assignments and workflow and was continually impressed not only by the quality of her work but also by her timeliness. No matter the hour or the day of the week, Sofia was the first to return assignments — I was often delighted to find her copy finished days before the deadline!
One of the qualities I most appreciate about Sofia is her instinct to ask questions. Should something have been left unclear or a cultural nuance be ignored (on my end, of course), Sofia never hesitated to promptly clarify with me prior to undertaking the task at hand.
Her writing also shows an incredibly deep understanding of consumer behaviour and tendencies that only a professional marketing copywriter with years of experience could have shared with our team and applied to her own work.
It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Sofia as a Swedish copywriter—in fact, I would love to contract her if our company develops its business into the Swedish markets! Please let me know if I can provide any more information on Sofia’s qualifications and strengths as a copywriter.”
— Wenonah Echelard, International Marketing Manager at Glossier
